As a virtual author assistant, I want to build a trusting and comfortable working relationship with my clients. Being an author myself, I understand some of the fears one may have when hiring assistants and new team members. In order to help build a more beneficial working relationship, I am posting the following policy information.

Content, Sharing, and Rights
During the process of providing services to my clients, full or partial book files, articles, cover images, or other writing may be sent to me. I retain no ownership, nor make any claims to copyright, of the work of my author clients.

I will not sell, trade, rent, or share full or partial book files, articles or other writing belonging to my author clients with third party individuals or websites without express and written permission from the author.
I will not share private personal information pertaining to my author clients (i.e., passwords, payment information, disclosure of real identities) with third party individuals or websites.

I have taken appropriate measures and will continue to do so to the best of my abilities to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of personal information, usernames, passwords, transaction information and any other data which is stored for the sole purpose of fulfilling service tasks I’ve been hired to perform.
